Hi, it sounds like you would like some additional information about what has sold in your neighborhood and surrounding area. If you would like to go to
http:// www.YourEbbyTeam.com, click on MarketSnapShot and then enter your information or use this link
http://pamyoakum.topproducerwebsite.com/market-snapshot.asp. You will almost immediately receive solds in your area.
In pricing your home, you will want to see the sold prices and make adjustments for size, year built and upgrades. We wish you the best!

We don't find them accurate either, as stated below. As an online source, we find Zillow to be fairly accurate in the Tarrant area, but just like Zillow tells you on their website: Buyers, sellers, and homeowners should supplement Zillow's information by doing other research such as:
Getting a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) from a real estate agent .
Getting an appraisal from a professional appraiser.
Visiting the house (whenever possible). - Fri May 16 2008, 20:10
I have researched this once before, for these type of questions, you may want to contact the Barnett Shale Energy Education Council (BSEEC), a community resource that provides information to the public about gas drilling and production in the Barnett Shale region in North Texas.
I also recommend googling 'Barnett Shale', for additional information. - Thu May 8 2008, 18:57

As a REALTOR, and a peer to your agent-if indeed they are a REALTOR, this is why sometimes the general public is skeptical of REALTORS as an industry. I am curious about a couple of things. Did your agent give you a marketing plan when you listed? Did they give you a schedule of when they would be giving you updates?
One of the things that we do is set our clients expectations. How we market, how often we send email reports, how often they can expect to speak with us etc.
These are some things I would ask for, rather than a release. A Marketing Plan. A Market Update monthly--new CMA. Phone calls--as often as you need. Showing update weekly. A link to all internet marketing. Graphics in the home etc.
I hope this help because perhaps they are really doing marketing and all the work they are supposed to do, but they have not been good at updating you on all the work they are doing.
If they are not doing the work you hired them to do......sad to say, but you may need a new agent. By the way, if you have listed with a discount agent or someone that has simply put your home on the MLS and is not doing any additional marketing that may not be enought to get your home sold in the market.
I do wish you the best and hopefully they are doing what they need to do and will be able to communicate that to you. Perhaps you need to refer to your states Codes of Ethics for REALTORS. - Mon Apr 14 2008, 11:13
You can also search the zip code on the Trulia home page. After the search is completed, refine your search on the left hand side of the results page by checking the box named 'Recently Sold Homes', in the section LISTING TYPE. I included a search of your zip in the below Web Reference below, and found 259 results for sold homes in the 92675 zip code. - Tue Apr 8 2008, 11:36
