I was born and raised in North Jersey (Hudson & Bergen Counties) and moved to Little Egg Harbor 3 years ago. I love the area with its abundant wildlife sanctuaries and protected lands. Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton appealed to my nature-loving, artistic personality. This is an area that is very protective of its environment and all it has to offer.
My education was obtained from St. Peter's College in Jersey City, as well as various professional management and insurance certified courses.
I worked in New York City in the financial area for 15 years; I changed careers and began selling life and health insurance products for many years after which I began my own successful retail business for a number of years. Subsequent to that, I sold housewares for a manufacturer's representative. I have over 30 years of sales experience and bring all the knowledge I have gained to my real estate profession. As a full time realtor, I work exceptionally hard for my clients. I value education and have obtained several coveted designations in the field such as S.R.E.S., e-certification and more.
Allow me to be your realtor so I can help you see the Little Egg Harbor, Tuckerton, Manahawkin and Long Beach Island area through my eyes! "Your Northern Connection to Ocean County Real Estate"
"I was asked to respond to Diane with my HONEST opinion of how she handled the appraisal, listing, showing, and selling of our home in 2007. All realtors especially during the last quarter of 2007 and probably into 2008, will go the extra mile to sell your home due to what most experts agree is a buyers market. I believe Diane will separate herself from most and sell homes for two reasons, which are straight forwardness coupled with brutal honesty, and availability to her clients. Truth about your sale or purchase along with being able to contact her at any time is very important. We listened to her suggestions, she listened to ours, some were implemented and some were not, most importantly the home SOLD!"

Hi, Sue! It depends on so many things- how much you're putting down, your credit score, etc. The Banks are now pretty tight with their mortgage money. They can advertise a rate, but once you get into the nitty-gritty, it doesn't always pan out. If you are working with a professional realtor, he/she might have an affiliate (as we here at Prudential do) who will guide you in the process. The "hidden" fees are the ones you must watch out for, i.e., origination fees, etc. - Fri Apr 25 2008, 14:57
Ray, there really is no "standard" commission - it's a "negotiable" commission; however, I can tell you that in this market, I'm seeing commissions in the 6, 7 and 8% area. Why? Because it's so much more difficult to market a house these days and an agent has to spend a lot more of his/her marketing dollars to get the home sold (IF it gets sold). As you know, there is NO COMMISSION paid if the home is not sold; therefore the agent is out-of-pocket what could be a large amount of money.
Hope this gives you some understanding . - Fri Apr 25 2008, 14:52
