Hi Ellen,
Good Luck to you! Try and learn as much as you can. Take classes and try to read and ask tons of questions so you can get better educated on the feild. There are some great agents out there that won't mind giving you guidance.. But in every feild you have some nasty ones that only care about the money and trying to get it anyway they can. I think its all about building relationships also Karma always comes back around. Good Luck!

Hi Dawn,
I know everyone has been telling you to strip the wallpaper. There maybe other things that you can do to make it look more pleasant without having to spend the extra money and also all the work involved in removing wallpaper.
Depending on how it was installed you may have to skim coat the walls do to the person who installed it may have never prepared the walls to properly install the wallpaper in the first place.

If you are trying to check out a certain areas you could call the local police station and find out if they have a website to tell you more about the areas in the town. Also you could check on my website I do have a community link where you can check out certain areas.

I'm so sorry to hear about your lost.
To answer your question:
You didn't mention if the house iscurrently paid off? Also if you currently own a home or do you rent? If the house is currently paid off or even if it has a small note on it. If you rented it out that could bring you in extra income monthly. It now becomes a great investment property that kind of pays for itself and gives you some extra money each month. Not to mention a great tax right off. If it was me I would rent it out and not sell. I would hold on to it.
