I agree with the others. You should have paid your HOA dues and addressed the issues you have through other means. All of the costs that are associated with collecting those dues are likely going to fall on you or even the HOA. The HOA is your employee essentially, in that in order for it to operate, it relies on your dues. Similarly, as it incurs costs, that goes against the HOA.

For specifics on your rights, these are usually passed on to you when you purchased your place in the form of the bylaws of the association. - Fri Aug 22 2008, 10:51

Why did Toll Brothers close their office in Hoboken?

The office you're talking about, if it is the one by 1st and Washington, was always a temporary space. It was their intention - they said pretty far up front, that they were going to have sales offices at each of their properties. - Wed Jul 18 2007, 20:46
