In my 20s, enjoy living in NYC but can't afford to buy Seeking condos in NJ, close to the city in the 200,000s

HI,
I would suggest Jersey City, Hoboken or surrounding towns that would provide you easy access to NYC and still provide a city type atmosphere. If you locate close to train or ferry, you don't need a car.

If you want beaches, parks and surburban lifestyle, look to the Jersey Shore. You can commute by ferry from Highlands, NJ, Atlantic Highlands, NJ, or Belford, NJ. To reach downtown Wall Street is 35-40 minute ferry ride. Add on another few minutes if you want to get to midtown. The Jersey Shore provides an abundance of outdoor recreational activities with Sandy Hook, prisitne beaches, boardwalks, extensive waterways created by the rivers, bays and inlets, equestrian sports, and great surburban lifestyles.

Both of my suggestions present different lifestyle options...it just depends on what you are looking for. You probably need to be 'in the 200's' to enter either market.

If you want more information, please feel free to call our customer service desk and they can send out a relocation package to you that includes maps, charts, area literature, etc.

No obligation, simply request from our customer service desk.

Jersey city would be perfect for you, I deal with new yorkers everyday. I can get them nice affordable luxury condo's by the Path for about 159-199. Also Union City is a great Area. Close to bergen light rail. Condo's there are even more affordable. I am also a New yorker originally myself. Linden Moe 732-710-3065

Check out Dixon Mills. I just bought a place there. Great loft spaces 3 blocks from Grove Street Path, parking, and cheap even compaired to other units in the area. I'm making the move from the East village and I understand leaving NYC but it so close, closer than Brooklyn or Queens. http://www.dixonmillsjc.com

Everyone that I've shown the pics to has flipped on how great the spaces look.

Give me a call if you want me to refer you a good agent there.

Look at http://www.empireview.com (I live there) ... i love the building and I'm also in my mid 20s. People in the bldg are all professionals and most of them work in NYC too. Theres a train to nyc within 5 mins drive distance or 20 mins walking.
