Empire View the new Luxury Condominium has begun the revitalization proses in the area. Most of the buyers are young professionals from NYC and have done a great job with turning the community around. They have sold almost 85% of the building so far and the building has only been on the market for about a year.

The city of East Orange is trying to revitalize and bring in more home buyers and renters from the middle class. You may already know that in years past, the city has had many problems but I firmly believe that things are going to change. They are making an effort to bring in new residential developments in town such as Empire View Condos and several other new developments. This is fostering a new middle class moving in. The city also has a midtown direct train to NYC for those who work there. Theyre also rebuilding the town shopping plaza and adding in a new arts center and a new high school. This town is not yet completely middle class but there are lots of new people moving in there every day that is starting to change the dynamics of the town. I think that if you were browsing listings online, it might be worth the trip to go and check out some of the new developments. You might be delightfully surprised for the quality of home you will receive for the asking price. Good luck!
