I’m thinking about buying 1/1 aprt near Sip/W. Side in Jersey City 07306 for investment for 145k. It’s about 10 mins walking distance to the Path station and NYC bus near by. I’m thinking about renting it out for 1350/m.

Questions:
1. Is this a good buy?
2. Will I asking too much for the rent?
3. What kind of tenants will rent in this area?

Any advise? Tks.

It is very close to Journal Square. Which is a great plus. Depending on the size of the unit, you should no trouble renting but beware if it is smaller than 500 sq ft. because it can be harder to finance.
