You can find out about Public Schools on http://www.schoolmatters.com
And Private Schools on http://www.local.com

Some private schools will have school bus, others no.

As far as Public schools go - find the school you want on the above then check out the neighborhoods.
You may have to give up something on one side or the other but it can be done.

P.S. My children were gifted and went to small town schools with few frills and no so good ratings, they still excelled, were given scolorships to the Universitys of thier choice. The school can't do it all.
It is right to try togive your children the best educational advantages but you need to be able to purchase where your budget is not streached too far to spend and time or money on the other necessities.

Here I would choose an older agent( doen't have to be "my old") one that has had children your age in school in the present or past.

Good Luck

Sonali,
Tough question. Each school is really different and the services they provide are really different. You might want to check out http://www.txgifted.org/associations/6225/files/Parent%20Aff… . It could really depend on their ages, strengths, etc. I'd suggest networking with the parents a little and see what you think works best for your children. I'd think Coppell might be a good fit as a first shot.
