Bergenfield is VERY family friendly! There are so many parks and the town pool is fun for all! There are scouts and school groups that have activities going all year long! Memorial field on New Bridge Road becomes a water park/camp in the summer for town residents - for FREE!! Washington Avenue is full of retail stores, restaurants, banks, etc - and is within walking distance to everyone's house in town! Go tohttp:// www.maps.live.com and take a look at our beautiful Bergenfield! the satellite images are like you're taking a hot air balloon ride overhead! take a look at my house for sale and contact me for more info! If my husband wasn't getting transferred, we would stay here forever!

Dianna, a large proportion of the people living in Bogota live in families, but that said -- it's important that you look at and research the town some to ensure it's the right fit for you.

Hi Dianna, Marc is right about driving through the towns, etc. Bogota is a very small town just south of Teaneck and east of Hackensack, very good proximity to NYC transportation (as is Teaneck) with about 10,000 residents. It's one of the communities that has a good variety of moderate-priced homes (mostly colonials) and a one-block center of town, also multi-generation families (grown kids stay or move back and raise their families close to grandparents, etc.). I am very familiar with it and surrounding comunities, let me and my team help you!

No one will tell you that any town is NOT family friendly. So make your own judgement by visiting neighborhoods, schools, the downtown, etc.
