Where to live while working in Wayne, NJ?

I am accepting a position in Wayne, NJ and am looking for advice on where to start my home search. I need a good school system and activities in the area for a young toddler.

I'm up in West Milford which is a nice rural area, with good lakes and good schools, and it;s about 30 minutes from Wayne down RT 23 you will also get more for your money.

Hi Eric,

Depending on your preferences, you might also consider Bergen county as well. Excellent school districts and some beautiful villages. You definitely might want to consider it if you'll be working in Wayne. Some other possibilities that are of more rural character are also available within 45 minutes West in southeastern Sussex County and eastern Warren County. I am a member of all 3 MLS systems in northern NJ, Relocation Director for my Century 21 office, and am very familiar with values as a licensed appraiser in all the areas you'll be considering. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me through my website. Good luck with the transfer and let me know if you need any help!

Hi Eric - Welcome to Trulia!

I cover the entire Passaic County and bordering Essex and Morris Counties. Wayne is a very nice town to work and to raise a family. Not only as a realtor but having lived in Little Falls which neighbors Wayne and having little ones of my own, I'd love to share with you not only my knowledge of homes available but town (including toddler activities) and school information as well. Reach out to me through my contact information below. I look forward to hearing from you.
