Good morning,

Dr Phillips was established about 40 years ago by a foundation of the same name. It is one of the first MASTER PLANNED communities in the state. There are 5 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and 2 high schools that serve the area.

On the top right of your trulia screen you can choose "stats and trends" on that page you can get school reports. They also show the top ranked elementary schools - both statistically and by parent opinion poll- and you will see that the Dr Phillips area elementary schools (Sand Lake, Bay Meadows, Palm Lake) are well represented.

Rental rates are a bit higher in this area and disappear quickly. Realtors handle many of them and you might check the various websites.

What about Schools?

Dr. Phillips has all highly rated schools, just always check to make sure the specific house you find is zone Dr. Phillips high and not West Orange, you can cross those school lines easily looking in that area and not know it. Check out https://www.ocps.net and click "Find a School" to see what schools serve what address.
