I appreciate Marc's comments and want to add one additional note. It's important that we report facts in addressing and answering the questions. Business Week Magazine sited Oakland, NJ in the "Top 50 Places to Raise Kids" and in checking the latest Best Places to Live by Money Magazine, found several NJ towns in the top 100, such as Montville, River Vale, Hillsborough, etc., although I think Oakland is a great place to live, but didn't make Money's list. http://www.Money.com

Mahwah has just been sited at THE BEST place to Live in Bergen County by NJ Monthly Magazine based on a variety of factors including schools, taxes, homeprices, etc. And, nearby Oakland was also sited in the top 50 best locations by Money Magazine so...you would do well to look in and around the area in addition to RAMSEY to get the most for your money and what exactly suites your particular needs.

You're new, so here are some tips:

1) Check the dates of the posts before answering questions that are months old and long settled.

2) Try answering the question the poster asked, rather than self-promoting.

3) Try not to insult the efforts of other posters who DID attempt to answer the question that was asked. If you have a better answer, post it, rather than offering a condescending "call me I'm wonderful".

4) The OP liked my general and useless reports to the point where she is now working with me.

Hi Karen --- I am happy to give you current prices of homes that are listed and those that have recently sold in Mahwah and Ramsey. I live in those areas and not only do I know them well --- I frequently sell homes there. Let me know your needs more specifically so I can get you information that suites your particular needs (and not a general report on the whole market with lot's of stuff you may not be interested in) and we can go from there.
