I am a recent alumnus of this school, and I have to say things are getting a little hectic. The quality of the education is very good, we have a wide choice of classes to choose within our interest and it is very easy to form a bond with most teachers. Bullying is very little problem, it is taken care

of quite well. There are many after school activates to choose from and you can be involved in many. The only problem is our safety rules. It's growing quite hectic. The IDs we wear around our necks is one thing but locking us out of the school during lunch (even in snow), not allowing us to carry backpacks, and even trying to force uniforms upon us- a public school!- is highly unnecessary in our fairly high class society. The school is starting to feel like a prison. Glad I'm done before it gets worse!! Also, for those interest, the school is quite overcrowded. Read less

At Fort Lee High School there are many opportunities for the parents to get involved and to participate in many programs as well as the students.Fort Lee High School has everything goin for them and the students that are in that school, it will now be the next step for the parents to try to get involved as well. We are now four years in the Fort Lee School system. I have two children enrolled. We left 8 years of catholic school in Palisades Park, and transferred to Fort Lee. It is the best decision we ever made. My children were so behind academically compared to the public schools here at Fort Lee. The

most impressive department of the school has to be the music department. I am so impressed by the Band at Fort Lee. The music director Harry Welte does outstanding work with children at a High School level. They are capable of greater venues than a playing field or school auditorium. They haven't been to Disney in 6 years, and they greatly deserve this experience. It is an honor to have a child that is part of such a wonderful organization. The Board of Education should be commended for having this on their curriculum. Utilize them more. Read less
